Fleet Team:

We are one of the smaller teams within FMS but one with a large task.

​

Our team cleans and prepares our fleet of AWD Ambulances which are bespoke conversions and are equipped with a rugged stretcher, long board and carry chair and response bags sealed before use. These are stripped and cleaned and made ready before and after every event. We also have a stores van and a support trailer.

​

Part of our remit is to make sure all items that go with the fleet are serviced regularly and to this end we do not just meet up at events but at least quarterly to maintain the fleet to the best possible standard we can.

​

To join us you must have a full UK driving licence with no more then six points and be prepared to work outside main events. You will be expected to help deliver vehicles and collect them from site and you are welcome to enjoy the event after you arrive.

​

We welcome volunteers with all backgrounds, especially those with mechanical experience and a good sense of humour! Full training on the make ready process will be given to all new volunteers.
