Founder & COO
Dave Parry
I met Dr Chris Howes, a Somerset GP, in 1985 at the Glastonbury Festival, where he was providing medical clinics for the annual migration of festival lovers. Realising there was a need to develop a more formal medical service, and with the help of my colleague Nich Woolf, we formed what is now the UK's premier voluntary event medical provider.
My primary focus as Chief Operating Officer is to provide a comprehensive and safe medical service for the events industry, and I work closely with senior colleagues to manage the organisation on behalf of our Board. As an experienced team, we are well respected and embedded into some of the UK's largest and most prestigious mass gatherings. As a charity, our continued objective is to provide grants to small medical and education related projects which we have achieved throughout the last 39 years. On a personal note, it has been my absolute honour to serve this amazing organisation and its incredible volunteers, and as we have evolved into the well-respected industry leader, it is my sincere hope is that we will continue to do so for many years to come.
